Rev. Vicki Penner |
Vicki is a chair of the Womanspirit Connection Board of Directors and is currently working as a Chaplain in Lawrence. Vicki is a graduate of Bethel College in Newton, Kansas and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA. She is an ordained Mennonite minister |
Sandra Hick |
Sandy was formerly an early childhood movement specialist. Since her retirement, she has studied labyrinth development and use. She has created two outdoor labyrinths in her large backyard in the country. |
Stephanie Krehbiel |
Stephanie is a graduate of Bethel College in Newton, Kansas and Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. She has a master's degree in ethnomusicology and writes on Mennonite music and culture. She is also cetified to teach yoga by the Rising Sun Yoga School in Southgate, Michigan, and teaches yoga classes at the Ecumenical Christian Ministries on the KU campus. |
Rev. Angela Lowe

Angela is the Chaplain at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She likes to garden, work outside, paint and decorate. Before coming to Lawrence, she was a consultant for a women's mission organization for a denomination in Arkansas. She's done a number of oversees mission trips and international travel. In 1996 she went to the Olympics in Atlanta as a clown. She is a proud supporter of KU Women's Basketball. |
Dr. Kay Metzger |
Kay has worked as a music therapist for over 20 years in mental health facilities, hospice and private practice with a focus on spirituality and health outcomes or wellness. Currently, she works with the Multicultural Scholars Programs at KU. Kay also writes poetry and plays classical and folk music on piano, guitar and autoharp. In her spare time, she likes to walk, ride bikes and play with her grandchildren. |

Danielle Price |
Danielle was born in Syracuse, New York, but grew up in the Deep South. She attended the University of Alabama, where she received a B.A in Russian Area Studies, and graduated from the University of Kansas in May 2007 with her M.A. in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies. Her graduate research focused on child abandonment in the Russian Federation. Danielle is the daughter of Rabbi Lawrence Schlesinger of Temple Beth Israel in Macon, Georgia, and Darrie Schlesinger. |

Eve Levin |
Eve is a member of the Lawrence Jewish Community Center (where she occasionally heps to lead religious services) and a professor in the History Department at the University of Kansas. Eve's research specialty is in the history of Eastern Orthodox Christianity (especially Russian Orthodoxy), with emphasis on women, healing, and popular beliefs and rituals. She came to Lawrence in June 2003, after living in Columbus, OH, for 20 years while a faculty member at Ohio State University. She received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College and her masters and doctorate from Indiana University. Eve is originally from Binghamton, New York. | |
