We sincerely appreciate all the women who have participated in Womanspirit Connection. To honor you, we are catering a special evening to celebrate your contributions be they monetary, volunteer time, or simple prayer support.
Kay Metzger, Outreach Coordinator for Women's Transitional Care Services, will be speaking to us on the topic of women's spirituality in difficult circumstances.
The meal will be catered by Vermont Street Barbeque.

This is an on-going discussion group about feminist theology and the divine feminine.
August and September - "The Earth Path" by Starhawk
We will meet Saturday mornings to share breakfast and study the divine feminine. Email us if you have questions about the location or the current readings.

Womanspirit Gathering will be a regularly monthly event where we will explore different aspects of our spiritual journey. Each meeting will have a dessert and a presentation on a spiritual topic. Women of all faiths and places on their spiritual journey are invited.

The Womanspirit Connection Annual Garage Sale will be Saturday Aug. 9. from 7 am to noon at 1116 Andover, Lawrence Kansas. Please come and shop! If you would like to volunteer, please email womanspirit@womanspiritconnection.com. We need people to help set up on Friday night and to do cashiering on Saturday morning. We are also accepting items for the sale on Friday night. Please no clothing or exercise equiptment. |

An Interfaith Dialogue: Moving Toward Mutual Appreciation

Education and networking to enhance and form "Faith Clubs" will continue at this event in October. Faith Clubs are composed of individuals or couples who want to learn more from people of different faiths. These small groups commit to meeting together and being open to learn about each other's faith journey. The goal is to move toward mutual appreciation of people of differing faiths. |
